Hi, I’m Huang Shuo, a multidisciplinary graphic designer fluent in Chinese, English, and Japanese. With a design journey rooted in both Eastern and Western cultures, I bring a global perspective to visual storytelling and brand communication.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from Indiana University Bloomington, where I also minored in Japanese. Later, I pursued a Master’s degree at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, where I’ve continued to refine my skills in branding, packaging, and visual systems. My graduate studies were extended due to the global pandemic, giving me more time to deeply explore concept-driven and culturally relevant design work.
Over the years, I’ve worked on diverse projects—from logo and packaging design for local businesses in China to promotional campaigns for community events and e-commerce brands. I’m passionate about crafting clear and meaningful visuals, whether for a kindergarten logo or a citywide art event.
When I design, I focus on more than just aesthetics—I aim to communicate emotion, function, and story. My approach is thoughtful and collaborative, always rooted in cultural understanding and purpose.
Currently based in China, I’m open to freelance opportunities and full-time roles around the world. Let’s connect and create something impactful together.
